Major medical health insurance gives us the benefit of obtaining quality health care and access to doctors when we get sick. But what happens to our finances if our illness is prolonged and needs critical care or we have an accident that requires immediate medical care, leading to loss of income? Too often people are left in financial hardship when critical illnesses or accidents strike. With our Critical Illness and our 24-Hour Accident Medical & Dental plans specifically designed to address this lack of coverage, you have peace of mind of knowing you are covered.
Critical Illness Coverage
Critical Illness Brochure [PDF]
An unexpected diagnosis of a life-threatening health condition creates emotional and financial stresses. If you are diagnosed with a critical illness you will want to concentrate on getting well and not worry about how you are going to pay your bills. Our critical illness insurance provides coverage that can allow you to concentrate on getting better. By paying a lump-sum benefit for a designated critical illness, the plan helps fill gaps that traditional life, medical and disability coverage may leave.
The lump-sum benefit is determined by the limits you choose and are paid upon diagnosis of any of the following critical illnesses:
•Life-threatening Cancer
•Paralysis
•Heart Attack
•Loss of Sight, Speech, or Hearing
•Kidney (renal) Failure
•Major Organ Transplant
•Stroke
•Severe Burns
•Coma
The lump-sum benefit is paid to you and can be used for any purpose.
